What Information I Collect and Why

When you use this website, make an enquiry, book a consultation, purchase a session orcourse, or sign up to my mailing list, I may collect the following information:

• Your name and email address

• Your phone number if provided

• Information you share in enquiry forms or consultation calls

• Payment information — processed securely by third party payment providers; I donot store card details

• Technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited,collected automatically when you use this site.

I collect this information to respond to your enquiries, deliver the services you haverequested, manage bookings and payments, send you information you have signed up toreceive, and improve the experience of using this website.I will never sell your personal data to third parties. I will never use it for purposes beyondthose described here without your explicit consent.

Third Party Tools and Services

This website and my practice use the following third party tools that may process yourpersonal data:

• Payment processing — payments are handled securely by third party providers. I donot store your payment card details.

Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy and data processingagreements. I have selected them on the basis of their compliance with UK data protectionlaw.

How Long I Keep Your Data

I keep client records for seven years following the end of our working relationship, in line with professional guidelines. Enquiry information that does not lead to a working relationship is kept for no longer than twelve months. Mailing list data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your RightsUnder UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data I hold about you

• Request correction of any inaccurate data

• Request deletion of your data, subject to my legal and professional obligations toretain certain records

• Object to or restrict certain types of processing

• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

• Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk if you believe your data rights have been breached.

Refund Policy

My refund policy varies depending on the type of service booked. Full terms for each servicetype are provided at the point of booking.

The following is a general summary.

1:1 SessionsSingle sessions cancelled with more than 24 hours notice are refunded minus a £2 processing fee. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or where you do notattend without notice, are charged in full. Session packages are non-refundable oncepurchased. If you have questions before purchasing a package, please get in touch first.

Workshops and Retreats

More than four weeks notice — full refund.

Two to four weeks notice — 50% refund.

Lessthan one week notice — no refund.

If you are able to find someone to take your place,please let me know and the booking can be transferred instead. If I need to cancel aworkshop, you will receive a full refund.

Sacred Alchemy Practitioner Training

The deposit paid to secure a place on the training is non-refundable under anycircumstances.

Any further payments made beyond the deposit are non-refundable onceprocessed. If you attend the first training weekend and subsequently withdraw, the fullcourse fee becomes payable. In cases of serious and unforeseen circumstances, please getin touch to discuss whether deferral to a future cohort is possible. This is at my discretionand is not guaranteed.

Online Courses via Learn Worlds Digital course content is non-refundable once access has been granted, except whererequired by law. If you experience technical difficulties accessing course content, pleasecontact me at alexia@alexiaelliott.co.uk and I will do my best to resolve the issue promptly.

Cancellation Policy

For 1:1 sessions, please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.For workshops and retreats, please refer to the refund policy above. Repeated cancellationsor non-attendance may result in the end of our working relationship.

Session Recording Policy

I do not routinely record sessions. If I ever wish to record a session for training orsupervision purposes, I will ask your explicit permission in advance and you will receive acopy. You are welcome to record sessions yourself at no cost, provided this does notinterfere with the work.

Social Media and Confidentiality

I take client confidentiality extremely seriously. I will never share identifying information about clients on social media or in any public forum. If I share case material in any context, itis always anonymised, composite, and with all identifying details changed.If you choose to share your experience of working with me publicly — in a review, on social media, or elsewhere — that is entirely your choice and I am grateful for it. I will never encourage or pressure clients to do so.

Safeguarding and Duty of Care

I work within a professional framework that includes a duty of care to my clients. In the vastmajority of cases, everything shared with me is held in strict confidence. Confidentiality maybe broken only in the following circumstances: where I believe there is a serious andimmediate risk of harm to you or another person, where I am required to disclose information by law, or in cases involving child protection, vulnerable adults, terrorism, or drug trafficking.

Where possible and safe to do so, I will speak with you before taking any action. I amregistered with the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) and bound by their professionalcodes of ethics and practice.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of my service, please contact me directly atalexia@alexiaelliott.co.uk in the first instance. I take all concerns seriously and will respondpromptly. If you are unable to resolve the matter with me directly, you have the right tocontact the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) at general-hypnotherapy-register.com.

I am committed to making my services as accessible as possible. If you have any access needs — physical, sensory, or otherwise — please let me know when you make an enquiry and I will do my best to accommodate them. Online sessions are available to all clients regardless of location.
