Letters, Reports & Additional Written Work — Fee Policy
Additional Written Work
Written letters, reports and statements requested by clients are separate from the therapy session and are therefore subject to an additional fee.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Confirmation of attendance at therapy.
Confirmation that a client is receiving or has received therapy.
Supporting letters for PIP or other benefit applications.
Letters relating to housing, education or employment.
Reports or statements requested by solicitors, insurers or other professionals.
Summaries of therapeutic work undertaken.
Requests for information from third parties where the client's written consent is required.
Any other written documentation requiring me to review client records and prepare a bespoke document.
Fees
The fee reflects the additional professional time involved in reviewing relevant records, considering the information requested, preparing the document and ensuring that the content accurately reflects the work undertaken.
The following fees apply:
Simple confirmation letter — £30
For a brief letter confirming matters such as attendance, dates of therapy, or that a person is/has been a client.
Supporting letter — £50
For a letter requiring a greater degree of consideration or explanation, including supporting letters for PIP, benefits, housing, education or employment.
