5 Reasons to Train in Sacred Alchemy
Sacred Alchemy is the guiding principle behind everything I do. It’s a dynamic approach to inner work and transformation drawing on clinical hypnosis shamanic practice NLP and Jungian depth psychology. Unlike rigid systems or fixed curricula, it’s a holistic way of working with the whole person – psyche, body and spirit – transcending most therapeutic models. I offer Sacred Alchemy Practitioner Training at both Foundation and Advanced levels in Leicester and online. Here are five reasons people choose to train in it.
1. It works — and you'll feel it in yourself first
The Sacred Alchemy training is more than just professional development; it’s a personal journey. You learn by experiencing the work within yourself before offering it to others. This isn’t incidental; it’s the core of the training. The quality of your presence as a practitioner is deeply connected to the depth of your own inner work. Those who train in Sacred Alchemy don’t simply leave with new skills; they leave changed.
2. It bridges the clinical and the sacred
Most training programmes offer one or the other. Either rigorous clinical technique with no soul, or spiritual practice with no psychological grounding. Sacred Alchemy holds both. You learn evidence-based hypnotic processes and Ericksonian language patterns alongside shamanic journeying, archetypal work, and depth psychology. The result is a way of working that is both precise and genuinely expansive.
3. It's suitable whether you're a practitioner or not
Open to everyone, the Foundation training welcomes therapists coaches healers and those with no professional background simply drawn to this work. No existing qualifications are required; genuine readiness and a commitment to personal growth are essential. Whether you’re a practitioner seeking to deepen your offerings or someone at a crossroads searching for meaningful work, the Sacred Alchemy Foundation offers a place to begin.
4. Small groups, real depth
Training in Sacred Alchemy is not a large group course. I work with small cohorts deliberately because genuine depth work requires genuine intimacy. You will know the people you train with. You will be seen by them. And the group itself becomes a container for the work in a way that larger programmes simply can't replicate.
5. It is led by someone who has lived it
With over two decades of experience as a hypnotherapist and more than three decades in mental health, I’ve travelled extensively. I’ve sat with Shipibo shamans in the Amazon, worked with plant medicine in the Andes and walked through my own dark nights. These experiences have profoundly shaped my approach to therapy. I teach both theory and practice, driven by a genuine belief that this work, when done well, can truly change lives.
